the gentle good ‘ruins / adfeilion’

For The Gentle Good’s fourth studio album, Ruins / Adfeilion, Ctrl Alt Design created the vinyl and CD artwork using traditional marbling techniques. This visual theme was later expanded across a series of single covers that echoed the album’s distinctive aesthetic. Alongside the artwork, we designed a responsive, mobile-friendly website, as well as promotional materials including the album launch and poster design.

Its sister release, Y Gwyfyn, developed the theme further with a new colour palette and a matching smoky purple vinyl pressing. The Welsh-language EP featured additional songs from the Ruins / Adfeilion recording sessions, along with previously unreleased tracks.
